Device Surfaces

Devices Surfaces are a graphical representation of a subset of functions in a Device Profile, replicating the physical layout of the device that the Device Profile describes.

These surfaces allow you to control a whole range of MIDI parameters on a device at once.

Each of the functions on the Surface can be deactivated if no there is no need for updating that parameter. This saves bandwidth on the MIDI cable and reduces the chance of overloading the receiving device.

Device profiles can have multiple pages of functions that you can scroll through horizontally.

All functions in a device profile transmit on the same channel, which is selected for all functions in the top of the Surface panel.

Is it also possible to save and restore snapshots of Surfaces, allowing for easy reuse of device parameters and settings.
